    Some useful research but you need to also include who the primary target audience is and what the circulation figures are for these magazines as this could come up in the exam.

Evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the intertextual relationship between The Matrix and The Lego Movie (10 marks) The pros of stealing the ideas and characters from another movie is that you do not have to be imaginative with coming up with your own ideas. The Lego movie copied the entire plot from the Matrix; including both of the settings being in a completely imaginative world. Both movies have an average guy who becomes a hero, a leader who is captured, and once both of them 'die' and come back to life they are able to do anything. With the Matrix being successful, this means the Lego Movie would be successful.
